As Harry, Ron and Hermione learnt some new vocabulary about fashion and clothing, they decided to change Hagrid's look for his date with Madame Maxime, from Beauxbatons.
Put on (phr v): to cover

Wear (v): to
have something on your body as clothing, decoration or protection: He

Suit (n): a

style or something you wear suits you, it makes you look good: The new
hairstyle of Hagrid really suits him.
Match (v): If
one thing matches another, or they match, they form an attractive
combination: Hermione wore a red and yellow scarf and a hat to match.
Catch on: to become popular or fashionable. I wonder if these brooms will ever catch on.

shirt for women: Girls in Hogwarts are expected to wear blouses.
Top (n): a
piece of clothing that covers the upper part of your body: Luna was
wearing a black skirt and a black top.
Design (v): to
decide how something will be made, how it will work, or what it will look like,
and often to make drawings of it: The bride wore a dress that she
designed herself.
Manufacture (v): to
make good in large quantities in a factory: The firm manufactores
women’s clothing.
Current (adj): happening
or existing now: Production is likely to remain at current levels.
Modern (adj): relating
to or belonging to the present time: Modern brooms usually flies
faster.
Look (n): the
appearance that someone or something has: Let us create a stylish
modern look for your home, Mr.Weasley.
Appearance (n): the
way that someone or something looks: Weasley twins are almost identical
in appearance.
Everyday (adj): very
common or completely normal: Harry needs a friend to help him with everyday problems.
To be on trend: to be
very fashionable. The magician’s cloak is on trend.
Casual clothes: not
formal. Hagrid likes wearing casual clothes.
Designer label: a
well-known company that makes (often expensive) clothing. Nimbus is a
broom from a designer label.

to kill: wearing clothes that
attract admirers. Hermione was

To
dress for the occasion: to wear clothes suitable for a particular event. The house from Ravenclaw wasn’t dressed

brothers or sisters to their younger siblings. All clothes of Ron Weasley are hand-me-downs.
